StreamFlow – Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 2026

1. About the app

StreamFlow is a player for M3U playlists and stream URLs. The app does not provide, host, sell, or offer TV channels, video content, playlists, or subscriptions; it only plays sources you add yourself.

2. Data stored on your device

Data you provide is stored only on your device. This includes playlists (name, M3U URL, optional username/password, optional EPG XML URL), favorites and history (favorite channel IDs, playback history, playlist history, last played channel) and program reminders (channel name, program title and start time). We do not operate servers that store this data; it never leaves your device except when you explicitly export a backup file.

3. Network and connections

When you enter an M3U URL (and optionally username/password), StreamFlow connects directly from your device to that URL to download the playlist and streams. If the URL uses HTTPS, the connection is encrypted; if it uses HTTP, the connection may not be encrypted and your username/password may travel in clear text. We do not operate or control the servers behind these URLs and recommend using HTTPS whenever possible. The app uses cleartext (HTTP) only when you enter an HTTP M3U or stream URL yourself. The app does not send any additional sensitive data over cleartext.

4. Third-party services

We use third-party services such as Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics, Firebase Cloud Messaging and Unity LevelPlay (ironSource Ads / Unity Ads) to collect usage and crash diagnostics (often in aggregated or pseudonymous form), deliver optional push notifications and show ads. These services may collect device identifiers, IP address, basic device information and app interaction data according to their own privacy policies. Usage and crash data are typically retained by these providers for a limited period (e.g. up to 14 months). We do not sell your personal data.

5. Ad and privacy choices (EEA, UK, Switzerland)

In the EEA, UK and Switzerland we use in-app ad privacy choices so you can allow or deny personalized ad data processing (shared with Unity LevelPlay partners). You can change your ad and privacy preferences at any time in the app under Settings → Ad consent / Privacy options.

6. Permissions

The app uses the following permissions: INTERNET (to load your M3U playlists, EPG XML, ads and to communicate with Firebase), PICTURE_IN_PICTURE (to allow watching video in a small window) and POST_NOTIFICATIONS on Android 13+ (to show program reminder and optional service or update notifications; you can disable notifications in system settings at any time).

7. Backup and export

The app can export your playlists and favorites to a JSON backup file at a location you choose, and restore from such a file. These backup files are under your control and are not sent to our servers.

8. Children

The app is intended for adults and general audiences and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

9. Your rights (EEA / UK)

If you are in the European Economic Area or the UK, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, and to restrict or object to certain processing. You can manage ad and privacy choices in the app (Settings → Ad consent / Privacy options). For other requests, contact us at [email protected].

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will be revised when changes are made. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

11. Contact

For questions about this policy or to request access, correction, or deletion of your data, contact us at [email protected]. You can also find the app on Google Play. This policy is available at https://streamflow.codergpt.rest/privacy-policy.html.
